Mission Statement

 

It is the mission of the City of Austell Fire Department to protect all citizens from injury and loss by any direct or indirect threats to life and property.  Our department is committed to this mission by providing rapid professional service essential to the health, safety and protection of our community.  This mission will be accomplished through fire prevention education, fire suppression, rescue operations and emergency medical services.  We will actively participate with our community, serve as role models and strive to effectively and efficiently utilize all resources available to provide excellent customer service to the citizens of Austell and it's visitors.

On April 19, 2008, the Austell Fire Department completed a 55
story stair climb inside the Bank of America Building in downtown
Atlanta with an average time of 24 minutes.  The team raised $900
for the Lung Association of Georgia.  The team is already
planning next years Climb Atlanta 2009.
